Life is not easy, smooth, or even consistently comprehensible. Life is complicated. However, as frustrating as life appears to be at times, it can be marvelously wonderful. The way you choose to carry yourself into the world and handle life’s obstacles while dealing with the world can have a real impact on how far you get in the professional or in the spiritual domain.

Corinth was the New York City of ancient Greece. It was a hustling, bustling, thriving and commercial metropolis. Goods, ideas and culture flowed freely through the streets, marketplaces and pagan temples. The country club of Corinth was the Temple of Aphrodite, where the who’s who hung out there.

Death is no respecter of persons and has no favorites. It doesn’t respect age, position, importance, or prosperity. It marches into the mansions of the rich and squalor of the slums. It doesn’t matter how well you feel or how in shape you are. No one escapes the certainty of death.
